Manchester United are hoping that Paul Pogba will be able to help convince Paulo Dybala to sign for the Red Devils, say reports.
Manchester United are hoping that Paul Pogba will be able to help convince Paulo Dybala to leave Juventus and sign for Manchester United, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Red Devils have identified the 24-year-old Argentina attacker as a possible target in the January transfer window.
Pogba and Dybala played together during their time at Juventus and it is claimed that the Manchester United midfielder could have a role in bringing the Argentina international to the club this year.
The same story says that Manchester United are “eager” to sign another attacking player this year to ease the pressure on the club’s current strikers.
Dybala has been in good form for Juventus so far this season. He has scored a staggering 14 goals and made three assists in Serie A for the Italian side.
Manchester United are bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks now that the January transfer window is open.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are now preparing for their crunch FA Cup third round clash against Derby County on Friday night.
The Red Devils finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last season.
